Treatment Coordinator Study Club
Dental Treatment Coordinator Continuing Education (CE)
This is a four evening continuing education study club for Treatment Coordinators. Presenting dental treatment to patients can be uncomfortable and often quite intimidating yet is absolutely essential for the financial wellbeing for any dental office. So much is depending on the outcome. Many of us have been put in this role without any formal treatment coordinator continuing education or guidance with little or no tools at our disposal. This study club series is designed to provide an environment of education and support for staff members that are asked to present treatment to patients. Best practices will be discussed and considered as well as ways to develop in-office protocols that will maximize your chances of success. The consultation process will be examined from the patient perspective and all sessions will be moderated by experienced treatment coordinators that have extensive experience and have thoroughly studied the art of effective communication and case acceptance. All of our instructors have a wealth of experience delivering dental continuing education courses.
Following completion of this four session program you will be able to:
- Understand and identify the common barriers to case acceptance
- Develop protocols for the case presentation process
- Modify the process of case presentation based on personality of your patient
- Have the tools necessary to effectively communicate with both your patients and co-workers
