Course Description

(half day program)

This non-bias program helps dentists with the decision making process they face nearly every day in their practice: to save or not to save a tooth.  Fundamental guidelines for proceeding with endodontic treatment and for replacement with an implant are discussed.

The course is meant to be very interactive and incorporates 3D imaging and HD videos.

  • Point and counter-point review of many cases and whether teeth should / could be saved with endodontic treatment, or replaced with an implant.
  • Review of the most current endodontic, surgical, and prosthodontic protocols, materials and techniques.
  • Program is tailored to novice and experienced general dentists.

Target Audience: dentists, hygienists, dental assistants

Transcription from the video:

I am Manor Haas. I am an Endodontist in Toronto and it gives me a great pleasure to announce that I'll be giving you a course for Genesis in Toronto on Endo vs. Implants. Do you retain it and do an Endo, do you replace it, extract the tooth and place an implant? It's a very non-biased practical clinically oriented course about what to consider about saving a tooth and doing an endo and restoring vs. maybe replacing it, and what are the factors involve and the variables involved in replacing it with implants. So it'll be providing a lot of clinical scenarios, very practically oriented, and really tailored to general practitioners. Essentially it's all about what should you do when a patient sits in your chair Monday morning, and you have to think about do I save it, can I do an endo should I do an endo and restore, or should I say enough is enough maybe I should extract it and do an implant and which kind of implant and when and where and how. Hopefully you can join me with Genesis in Toronto and thank you very much.
